Realtime reporting provides the attorneys in the deposition conference room, or on teleconference, the opportunity to see the testimony in written form on their computer device within seconds of the actual words being spoken. The highly-skilled court reporter uses a sharing device to connect their computer system to that of the deposition participants. While this form of the testimony is in a rough or draft form, it is still considered highly useful to attorneys and their staff in the present deposition as well as in preparing for upcoming depositions.
